MASS AWARENESS RALLY (THEME: SAVE PETROL, SAVE ENERGY)

In an attempt to play an important role in saving the fuel energy for future generations, the Interact Club of Deep Memorial Public School organized mass awareness rally on 28th December,2010 against the use of fuel vehicles for short distances.
The club targeted to create a movement of mass awareness among the residents of Ramprastha, Surya Nagar, Rampuri and Chander Nagar.
The rally told its target audience not to use fuel vehicles but bicycles or simply walk to cover short distances. This step would not only work in the direction of saving petrol for our future generations but would be good for health as well.
More than 800 students and the whole teaching staff participated in the event. The rally which was 0.5km long covered a distance of more than 4-5 km on foot and hence volunteering for the cause.
The Interact club members even performed a street play in the City Center Market emphasizing on the need of saving fuel energy.
