Project 1: PULSE POLIO CAMPAIGN

The Interact Club of DMPS conducted a joint PULSE POLIO PROJECT at JJ Clusters, Anand Vihar with its sponsor club Rotary Club of Delhi Vivek on 14th November, 2010.  Foreign delegates from Rotary Club of Bicester also joined the project. The project was strategically planned on PULSE POLIO RAVIVAAR with an aim to immunize the children up to 5 years of age against Polio.
The members of club took out an mass awareness rally from the school till the venue.
On their way, they explained the people the importance of getting their children immunized against polio.
They also went into slums and encouraged the children and their parents to come to the polio camp and get their children immunized.
The project was a huge success as it saw a huge 651 immunizations from a single slum on a single day.
